By way of scooting he'd eventually get to a different part of the room, or to the thing he shouldn't put in his mouth, or stuck under a table. But I never saw him get anywhere on purpose. He would just end up in a new spot because he was scooting.
But that all change this morning...
The kids and I were all in the kitchen. Kalai was getting her homework in order to take to school. I had put Caleb on the floor infront of the fridge to play with the magnets while I went to help Ella with the puzzle she was doing. As I was looking for a puzzle piece, Ella started to yell, "Look! Caleb is crawling! He's doing it!" The girls and I were surprised and thrilled to see our little man crawling, with great determination, from the fridge to the garbage can. After calling Chris to share the big news, (and moving Caleb away from the garbage can) we grabbed the camera to record Caleb's first moments of crawling. It's not your standard hands and knees crawl, but it works and has been getting him from here and there all day.
Oh boy...here we go!
